1996 - NTA was founded by Roy Hills.
1999 – NTA were one of the four original members of the NCSC CHECK scheme. NTA have consistently maintained the highest accreditation level and have extensive experience of delivering Government CHECK IT Health Checks.
2002 - NTA have been an approved supplier accredited to the National Policing Improvement Agency, NPIA (previously PITO), with work delivered by senior consultants with NPPV, CRB and SC Clearances. Despite the demise of the NPIA scheme, NTA still supports the security activities of a number of blue light organisations.
2004 - NTA opened a second office in Malaysia to service the growing Asia-Pacific market.
2006 - NTA achieved Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) status within the PCI DSS scheme.
2008 - NTA were one of the founding members of the Council of Registered Ethical Security Testers (CREST).
2011 - NTA developed and delivered a Master degree module at the University of Greenwich providing students with knowledge and hands-on experience of penetration testing.
2013 – NTA develops its pool of ISO 27001 Lead Auditor consultants, enabling us to better advise our clients on security policies and procedures.
2014 – NTA is accredited by CREST to deliver Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification to organisations.
2018 - NTA acquired by Intertek and became Intertek NTA.

We are relied upon to deliver a service which can be trusted – a service that will identify the shortcomings of a single system or an entire global network, so action can be taken before those shortcomings are exposed or exploited by less trustworthy parties.
